Storm Master Inc. (SMI) is an industry leader in providing quality residential and commercial roofing products and services, professional installation and unmatched warranties, exclusively in Texas and Oklahoma since 1977.
In the last 17 years, SMI has made a significant investment in building a solid reputation in the Roofing Industry with many of the major national and regional roofing and building associations, as well as their growing list of satisfied customers.
The existing SMI web site was adequate, based on relevant content, but lacked visual appeal, as well as Corporate Identity and branding. To make matters worse, their hosting company at the time was hosting their domain as "www.hostingcompany.com/stormmaster"... NOT "www.stormmasterinc.com". SMI had the insight to register several different, yet common domain name variations..."storm-master.com, stormmaster.us, and stormmasters.com"... thus surrounding, and protecting their company name, and reducing the chance that others might register similar names, and limit their customers', and potential customers' chances of finding SMI online.
SMI contracted with The Site Factory in March of 2004 to develop a Corporate Identity Package that they could begin to be recognized by, and one they could start applying to their on and off-line advertising and marketing efforts. Based on discussions with SMI about these future marketing plans, The Site Factory registered "www.stormmasterinc.com" as the corporate domain name to promote in all marketing material, and the name that all other registered domain names would point to.
The new web site needed to leverage Storm Master's newly developed identity to a web presence while presenting a consistent image to its existing, and potential customers. The Site Factory designed and developed a fresh, new look for SMI that retained much of the original content, yet displayed that content in a more attractive and structured format.
Amazingly enough, all of this work was performed for just over half of what SMI was being charged for web hosting alone.
